This perennial meadow on the urban green space just off of Bryn Road, Mynydd Isa is one of our wildflower seeded sights. The meadow was created in 2021 using boston seeds BSXM dual purpose 70/30 seed mix. During the summer months you should be able to spot some of the following species.
This wildflower site is usually managed through one cut and collect a year between August and October. It is essential that cuttings are collected and removed. This reduces fertility and subsequently; the ‘vigour’ of the grasses year on year, which favours the continued establishment of perennial flowering species.
