Amphibian & Reptile Conservation
Natterjack Toad Reintroduction and Monitoring
North East Wales
Project Ongoing
Focus
The Natterjack Toad Epidalea calamita is Wale’s rarest amphibian and has been successfully reintroduced to Wales following regional extinction.
The reintroduction in Wales has been recognised as highly successful but this would not have been possible without the support and drive of multiple partners and volunteers.
The work is co-ordinated by ARC’s North Wales Officer, Mandy Cartwright. Please get in touch for further information on how you can get involved with this exciting project.
